The cable drum with two end flanges is rotatably mounted on the holder and is on a supporting arm (17). Attached firmly to the supporting arm is a shaft (16), on which a bush (25) having a flanged part (26) is pressed. By means of an actuating member which can be operated by hand and which comprises, in addition to a wheel nut (31) with a hub (32), a spring ring (30), the drum can be pressed against the flanged part (26). The amount of frictional force which is to take effect between the drum and the flanged part can thereby be selectively adjusted. <IMAGE>
