The production method is for a tile with a fitted rubber or plastic cover plate. The plate (1) has one or more ribs (15,15', 15") on the side facing the tile, and tile and plate enclose an air cavity. The process involves the making of holes for fixture points, the manufacture of a cover plate (1) with integral fixtures (2-5), the filling partially of the holes with a binder. The cover plate is then positioned on the tile, and the binder is allowed to harden.
