Composite synthetic resin pipe - with spirals of pvc strip coated with polyester impregnated glass fibres

Pipe combines the corrosion resistance of PVC with the greater heat resistance of polyesters by having the inner lining as a closely wound spiral or rigid PVC strip, and an outer sheath of polyester- or epoxy-resin impregnated glass fibres. An outer coating of isophthalic acid ester improved the corrosion resistance.
