Wicker wound glass flask - has handle bound onto neck low down to leave space for safety cap

The flask is covered with wicker work which is bound at the neck of the flask by a binding (3) wound horizontally around the neck. The handle (4) is also made of wicker. The bottom end of the handle is wound into a horizontal binding. The neck is fitted with a top ring (7) which prevents the binding from slipping off the end of the flask. It allows space for a tamper-proof stopper which may be fitted with a seal.
