PURPOSE:To provide a printing ink having excellent plastics-printability and the resistance to heat sterilization treatment, containing a thermoplastic polyurethane resin, a vinly chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer resin and a thermoplastic polyester resin as vehicles. CONSTITUTION:There is provided a printing ink containing a thermoplastic polyurethane resin, a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer resin and a thermoplastic polyester resin as main vehicle components. Preferable thermopolyurethane resins are those having a nitrogen content of 2-8wt% derived from an isocyanate cpd. and a polyether or a polyester having hydroxyl end gp. and an MW of 500-3,000. The vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer resin is used to impart ink-formability and printability, and functions as a blocking improver. The vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymers having a polymn. degree of 250-800 and a weight ratio of vinyl chloride to vinyl acetate of 70-97/3-30 are preferred. |
