The panel (1) is housed in the recess (2) of a metal plinth (3) the latter having an opening (4) that houses an externally threaded nut (5). A pivot block (8) sits on a spindle (12) and a screw (7) is pushed up through a hole (10) into the nut, the position of the nut along the opening determining the pivoting point of the panel before the screw is tightened. The spindle is housed in a base unit (13) which is attached to the shower fixed frame. The base unit has a recess (16) for a small end covering panel and a groove to take the rubber stop (18), the latter holding the panel closed against the stop.
