The advent calender is in the form of a house kit which can be suspended. The house has a hollow space inside with doors and windows which can be opened. Each window or door triggers a particularl tune when ooened. The housing (1) contains an electronic control unit (3) linked to a cassette recorder (6) on the outside via a cable. The control unit is also linked to the individual windows and doors. A pulse is transmitted to the cassette recorder via a contact linked to each door or window to trigger the tune.
