The frame is for use by opticians to adjust spectacle lenses whose power of refraction differs with height. The lenses are particularly of panfocal type, with a continuously-altering power of refraction. It comprises a straight guide spindle on which the ear hooks hinge, with a central nose support. On the opposite sides of the latter are adjusting members movable along the spindle and prevented from turning on it. Tapped holes in the members at right angles to the spindle accommodate setting spindles and on the latter are U-shaped spring steel clamos securing the lenses.
