The resilient handle grip for a ski stick (2) has an upper flanged sleeve (5) and lower flanged sleeve (6) mounted at top and bottom of the gripping region of the shaft with a set of resilient cords (4) mounted between them. A single cord may be used passing several times to and fro between the flanges, each flange having eight holes through it. The top flanged sleeve is locked in position by a screw (11) passing through a domed top cap (14) to screw into a bush (12) inside the top of the hollow shaft.. The handle is for cross country skiing, downhill skiing, particularly where the diagonal track technique is used, and for roller ski tracks, for training. The device is easily fitted using a screwdriver.
