The end fitting is sealed around both the fluid line cone (2) connected to a load and to the heating conductor (3) which is separated from the line (2) and coupled to an electrical supply. The adjacent line (2) and heating conductor (3) are surrounded along the length of the heated fluid line by a heat-insulating sheath (4), which flares outwards at the end. A separate heat insulating sheath (9,7) is fitted around both the heating conductor (3) and the fluid line (2). A Y-shaped sleeve (6) which is shrink-fitted into place provides a moisture-proof seal around the abutting ends of the first heat-insulating sheath (4) and the other two sheaths (7,9). A further shrink-fit sleeve encloses the ends of the first (6) which fit around the second two sheaths (7,9).
