The dish rack with a heating element, consists of a housing with parallel, horizontal and vertical bars to support the dishes. The housing contains a heating element with a number of air supply holes at the front and air extraction holes at the top. There is a blower (141) between the air feed holes (136) and the plate rack (118). The heating element is located on the suction side in front of and above the rotor of the blower (143). The heating element is in the form of a grid of heating rods.
