<p>A coin operated dispenser for confectionery products e.g. chewing gum balls, is disigned to minimise the effects of vandalism and forced entry. The unit has an oval housing (4) that is mounted on a column (5) from a base plate (6). An access plate (8) contains an aperture (10) through which the coin entry slot and operating mechanism (12) projects. An aperture (9) allows the products (11) to be displayed. The products are contained in a magazine unit that is inserted into the unit on built in runners. At the rear of the housing are interlock elements and a locking unit for secure retention.</p> |
