The house main door resists tendencies to twist or deform under the effects of outdoor damp and cold, and different conditions on the outside and inside. The door is made of solid wood and comprises a support frame and internal and external fillings. The external filling (2) is on the frame (1) so as to float. It is pref. seated in the U-profile rails (5), permitting play at the edges. These are fastened to the frame, and pass through the external filling in peripheral grooves (6), covered from sight. This filling can be rear-ventilated.
