Antitumour compsns. contg. acyl-cytosine arabinoside - stabilised with mono:glyceride and/or nonionic surfactant

Pharmaceutical compsns. contain 100 pts.wt. of a N4-acylcytosine arabinoside (I) and 10-100 (pref. 5-50) pts.wt. of a fatty acid monoglyceride (II) and/or 5-500 (pref. 5-100) pts.wt. of a nonionic surfactant (III) with a polyoxyethylene side-chain. Compsns. can be used for cancer therapy (see also US 3991045). They can be stored for long periods without significant deacylation of (I).
