PURPOSE:To improve shock resistance by increasing the Q value of a length longitudinal oscillator by forming it of three arms in a comb shape. CONSTITUTION:A rectangular piezoelectric thin crystal plate even in thickness is provided with two slits nearly in parallel to one side of the rectangle and of three arms made by splitting the plate by the slits, center arm 1c and other two side arms 1a and 1b oscillate mutually out of phase. Connection part 6 of three arms forms the node part of oscillations over a wide range, it is suitable for the support part. Consequently, they can be fixed to the support base at connection part 6 with large area and its shock resistance can be improved without detracting anything from the Q value. |
