The toner powder dosing roller has a single ended axle support for mounting into the side of the toner reservoir (14) and with special protection for the bearings (5). The fixed axle support (13) has the fixed magnet carrier (1) attached to it and with the free end located in a bearing (5) on the inside end wall (6) of the rotating metal sleeve (3). The reservoir is sealed from the outside by seals (11) between the edge of the access hole and the surface of the rotating sleeve. The whole assembly is mounted on a support plate (2) held on the side of the housing (8) by standoff studs (12). The bearings are located in inside flanges moulded to the two end plates.
