<p>The damper comprises a hydraulic piston-cylinder system (1,2). The cylinder space is completely sealed and fully filled with the hydraulic medium, allowing a damped movement of the piston rod (3), without any play, over the entire stroke of the damper. Pref. the piston rod (3) fits through a seal (4) at either end of the cylinder (1), each with an associated bearing (5). A hollow bar (6) is attached to one end of the cylinder (1) and has a fixing lug (7) at one end, a second similar fixing lug carried by the free end of the piston rod (3), to allow the damper to be secured between two relatively movable components of the scissors linkage.</p> |
