PURPOSE:Wire for welding, obtained by forming polytetrafluoroethylene telomer film on the surface and remarkably improved the feeding capacity and rust resistance. CONSTITUTION:Solid lubricant coating of polytetrafluroethylene telomer is formed on the surface of wire. Applying method for said solid lubricant is as folllows; For example, in case of substantial wire, said lubricant can be applied as wire drawing lubricant of the last die in the wire drawing process. Besides, tetrafluoroethylene telomer can be used independently or suitable amount of another wire drawing lubricant can be jointly used. Said wire can be spplied for welding of a high tensile steel because of not increasing the amount of diffusible hydrogen. |
