<p>The profiles each have two spaced outside walling pieces interconnected by one or more crossarms. These operate in conjunction with two side guideways, allowing rolling up and unrolling of the whole sheet in a roller shutter mechanism. The cross arms (4) are connected to the outside pieces (2,2'), and/or shaped, so that positional change, bringing these pieces and the cross arm closer together, is practicable by virtue of tension stressing on the blind sheet by forces acting in the profiles' main plane, transversely to the length. The profiles (1) are pref. made of extruded material, while connections (3,3') between cross arms and side pieces are made of co-extruded soft plastics and act as hinges.</p> |
