<p>An elastic mounting for a windsurfer keel has the keel blade (28) linked to an upper support by a longitudinal hinge to fold sideways under the board when running aground. This prevents damage and improves the stability of the craft. The keel is lined to a holder (6) with a handgrip (5) accessed from the top of the board. When run aground the keel can be pulled out of the board from on top. The hinge is part of the plastic moulding of the whole fitting, with internal reinforcing straps (23).</p> |
