发明名称 DETECTOR FOR SUPERCRITICAL FLUID CHROMATOGRAPHY
摘要 PURPOSE:To efficiently detect amines, etc., by constituting a gas introducing part of a reduced pressure flow passage for supercritical fluid-gas conversion having a capillary and heating means thereof. CONSTITUTION:The gas introducing part is constituted of the reduced pressure flow passage for supercritical fluid-gas conversion formed by inserting and fixing the capillary tube 7 made of fused quartz having 7mum inside diameter and 20mm length into the through-holes of the heating blocks 9A, 9B. The supercritical fluid is reduced in pressure and is gradually converted to gas; in addition, the liquefaction is prevented by heating with the blocks 9A, 9B, if the supercritical fluid contg., for example, the amines and paraffinic hydrocarbon as separating components is introduced through the tube 7 into such detector 1 for supercritical fluid chromatography. The supercritical fluid, therefore, attains the gaseous state in the detector 1. The amines relatively are relatively low in ionization potential and are, therefore, easily ionized on the surface of an emitter electrode 3. The ions are detected as ion current in an electrometer 15. On the other hand, the hydrocarbon is not ionized on the electrode 3. The amines are, therefore, measured with high sensitivity.
