The housings (6) are attached behind the rear wall (4) of the furniture element (1). They are each fitted with adjustment spindles (16,18) which are actuated from inside the cupboard to adjust the height and the wall spacing of the furniture (1). They are set at right angles to the adjustment crank (12). These spindles act on the rotatable crank (12) which is upright in the assembled state of the wall hanger (7) and holds a support pin (13) intended to be held by the wall fastening (14). The crank is preferably cogged for engagement by the spindle which controls the distance between the furniture unit and the wall.
