The device of this invention is intended for the gathering of brushwood in the form of twigs, wood refuse, and other similar materials in connection with forest clearing, thinning, path maintenance, fire road maintenance, maintenance of fields, streams, ponds, rivers, and creeks, as well as gutters, and includes among other items a bundling unit, which consists of an extended cylindrical drum with a peripherally open notch which stretches along the drum, in that one or more compressors are devised to be pivotal from one position, in which the notch of the drum is released for loading of brush debris into the drum through the opening to a position in which the brush debris is packed and compressed into the drum, and that the unit is adapted to bundle the brush debris compressed in the drum.<IMAGE> |
