PURPOSE:To fix the stator core of an a.c. generator for an automobile by a method wherein plural concave parts are provided at one end part of outer circumferential face of the stator core, while calkee parts on the inner of cylinder part of a frame are engaged with the concave parts. CONSTITUTION:On the outer circumferential face of a stator core 21, plural concave parts 23 are provided at an equal interval penetrating from one end to another end in the axial direction. Corresponding to the respective concave parts of the stator core 21, grooves 14 extending from an opening end part to the paint right before another end part in the axial direction of a stator core 20 are formed on the inner circumference of a cylindrical part 11 of a generator frame. The stator core 21 is inserted into the cylindrical part 11 of the generator frame and positioning is performed, while parts of the generator frame 10 are calked utilizing the grooves 14, and calked parts 13 are engaged with the concave parts 23 to fix the stator core 21. |
