Mite ovicidal and fungicidal compns. Title compositions contain as active ingredient derivs. of Me 2-benzimidazolcarbamate of formula (I) (where Q is H, COOR, (cyano)methyl, 1-6C alkyl-sulphonyl, 3-4C alkenyl, propargyl, cyano, -PW(WR)2 (where R is (m)ethyl and W is O or S), substd. alkoxy or CONR2R3; R1 is 1-6C alkyl, 3-6C alkenyl or 3-6C alkynyl, residues all substd. by Cl, Br, F or CN; R2 is H, 1-6C alkyl, 2-6C alkenyl or 2-6C alkynyl residues; R3 is H or opt. substd. (cyclo)alkyl, (cyclo)alkenyl, alkoxy, benzyl or phenyl or R2 and R3 form a heterocyclic ring with the N-atom or an O-atom; and X is H, halogen, 1-4C alkyl residue, nitro or 1-4C alkoxy residue) Prepn. is by reaction of suitable 2-benzimidazolecarbamic acid ester derivs. with isocyanates or with COCl2 and subsequent reaction with amines. |
