PURPOSE:To prevent the outflow of a liquid chemical from a bottomed cylindrical syringe and to prolong the life of an apparatus by adopting the constitution in which a plunger formed with a hollow flow passage is inserted into the syringe from an upward facing insertion port of the syringe. CONSTITUTION:The hollow flow passage 11a is provided to the central shaft of the plunger 11 of a syringe pump 10 and the plunger is inserted into the cylindrical syringe 11 having a bottom wall from the upward facing plunger- insertion port 14a thereof. A check valve 19 is provided on the upper part of the pump 10 and a crank mechanism is provided on the lower part thereof. The reagent is sucked by setting the check valve 19 at the suction side and driving the crank mechanism 18 to lower the syringe 14. The reagent is then discharged by changing the valve 19 to the discharge side and raising the syringe 14. Since the syringe 14 is bottomed and faces upward, the outflow of the liquid chemical is obviated and the life of the apparatus is prolonged. |
