PURPOSE:To make small the size of unit, by inserting measured sample between the reflection mirror reflecting the outgoing beam emitted from the end surface of optical transmission path and incident to the optical transmission path and the end surfae of optical transmission path. CONSTITUTION:After the light from the light source 13 is incident to the light directional coupler 15 via the optical system 14, it is fed to the sensor main body 14 via the optical fiber 16. Since the sensor main body 12 has the reflection mirror, the light reflected at it is again incident to the coupler 15 via the fiber 16. This reincident light is converted into electric signal with the photodetector 17, fed to the signal processing section 21 via the amplifier 20, and the processing section 21 obtains the absorbance of measured sample inserted between the reflection mirror of the sensor main body 12 and the end surface of optical fiber from the signal supplied, and this is fed to the output section 22 for display or print-out. Thus, the measuring sensor unit can be made small in size. |
