PURPOSE:To provide noncarbon transfer paper which is excellent in coloring and on which polychromic, coloring can be effected on the same surface, by coating one side of a carrier with a capsulated oil-soluble acid substance and by printing a coloring agent in ink form on the other side of the same carrier or on another carrier. CONSTITUTION:An oil-soluble acid substance such as novolak-type phenol resin or salicylic acid is dissolved in an oil such as alkylnaphthalene or naphtha. A water- soluble binder such as casein or PVA, a capsule protector, etc. are added to the solution to provide developer capsules. An electron-donating or proton-accepting achromatic dye, a resin, a pigment and a solvent are mixed with one another to provide a coloring ink. The developer capsules are coated on one side of a carrier and the coloring ink is partially printed on the other side of the carrier by a printer. A carrier coated with the capsules on one side and another carrier whereon the coloring ink is partially printed may be combined with each other. |
