PURPOSE:To make a reinforced surface polystyrene foam having a superior strength, outer appearance and chemical resistance and having no peeling-off features by a method wherein PS foam having a specific density is thermally adhered under an alignment of the male form and female form of dies and then a the rmoplastic resin etc. is injected into a cavity of the dies. CONSTITUTION:Foaming PS primary foaming particles are filled in a die, heated up to 110-120 deg.C to make foam and thereby PS foam 1 having a density of 0.5- 0.05g/ml and a fixing pin groove hole 2 is produced. Then, a male die 4 having a male die core fixing pin 6 is attached to a movable plate 5 of an injection forming die, a groove hole 2 of the foam 1 is fixed to the pin 6 to make a male core, a female die 8 having a slightly larger die cavity than the male die core is fixed to the fixing plate 7 to close the male die 4 and the female die 8. Then, a thermoplastic resin or rubber is injected from a nozzle 9 of the injection molding machine through a sprue runner gate 10, thermally melted and combined to a surface of the foam 1 to make a film layer 3. |
