Exchangeable cylindrical brushes made by putting onto a cylindrical winding mandrel alternately bristle and cord which are bound together with a binder, the mandrel being coated with a lubricant or release agent before putting on the brush components, which are pushed onto the brush core. The mandrel is coated with PTFE or silicones, or is metallised, esp. with Cr, and polished. The diameter of the mandrel is such, that the brush fits onto the core without play, but is removable. |
