<p>Welding pincer of the slave type comprises a drive cylinder for one of the arms of the pincer w.r.t. the other arm, and uses a servo valve for controlling the cylinder and an angular position stop mechanism to determine at any moment the angle made by the arms of the pincer, and consequently, the sepn. of its electrodes. The pincer represents an improvement over the two position open-and-closed type by being infinitely variable, and is an improvement over the oleopneumatic type which has the drawbacks of excessive times of opening and closing and rise and fall of pressure.</p> |
