The hydraulic steering brakes for the tractor have separate brake pedals operating on separate master cylinders. The cylinders are linked to a master control valve to which the rear brakes are coupled. If only one steering brake is operated then the rear brakes only drag slightly, or the force on them is not sufficient to overcome their internal springs. If both steering brakes are operated then the master control valve central piston is displaced further to allow a connection between the steering hydraulic force and the brakes. |
