A polyolefin resin composition is described which comprises (a) a polyolefin resin prepared by means of a Ziegler catalyst having a halogen-containing magnesium compound as its carrier component and contaminated with from 20 to 1000 ppm of the halogen-containing magnesium compound; (b) a salt of a metal belonging to group Ia of the periodic table, the salt being present in an amount of from 1 to 100 times the weight of the halogen-containing magnesium compound present in the polyolefin resin; and (c) an antistatic agent, which comprises an amine or amide, being present in an amount of from 0.05 to 1.5 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the polyolefin resin. This polyolefin resin composition has improved antistatic properties. |
