<p>The drive is used for speed reductions at very high powers. The guide frame (1) is in a circular arc in which run two grooved rollers (2,3) connected together by a link and supporting one branch (4) of a right angled pivoting link. The upper branch of this link has a roller on which rests the operating lever (6). This lever may, in turn, be operated by a eccentric cam (7). The second link (8) of the mechanism is connected to a branch (4) by a swivel pin (9). The connecting rod (10), attached by another swivel pin to the roller (3), transmits the force of the crankshaft. The fulcrums (11) supports the branch (4) and the lever (6).</p> |
