A gear pump for lubricant in "a final drive" comprises a drive gear (52) and a driven gear (56), the drive gear being coupled with a rotary input shaft (18) and having therein a fluid passage (54) communicating with an outlet port Figure 3 (not shown), via a chamber (58) and with a chamber (30) in the input shaft. Lubricant passages (34,36,38) extend from the chamber (30) to rotary components such as bearings (20,22) and gears (24,26). The use of separate piping for such lubricating purposes is thereby avoided. <IMAGE> |
