PURPOSE:To substantially reduce damages to a saw blade and to improve cutting efficiency by setting the most appropriate maximum cutting value by making use of an indicating panel on which the maximum value is sectioned in accordance with material, shape, size, etc. of a section steel. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal band saw disk 3 is constituted of a material supporting platform 9, a bypass mechanism 11, a band saw blade 29, a reducer valve device 1, a hydraulic control circuit 5, and others. Then, an indicating panel 95 which indicates multiple groupes of cutting conditions 93a-93d corresponding to material, shape, size, cutting length, etc. is mounted on a flow rate adjusting dial 91 of a cutting flow rate control valve 51, and by coinciding the range of a dial scale marks 97 made on a dial 91 with the desirable cutting groups 93a-93d, an appropriate cutting speed can be obtained. Also, a base part of a lift cylinder 45 is fixed and supported on a base platform 7. Being thus constituted, the damages to a saw blade can be substantially prevented and the cutting efficiency can be improved. |
