PURPOSE:To assure the uniformity of energy independently of a radiation incidence position, by compensating an energy signal on the basis of scintillation energy corresponding to a bidimensional position read from a memory. CONSTITUTION:When radiation goes into a scintillator 11, a memory 56 is accessed by (incidence position signals (x), (y) through a position compensation circuit 54, an A/D converter, etc. Peak scintillation energy corresponding to a bidimensional position is read from the memory 56 to regulate the shifting of the window of an analyzer 53 through a window control circuit 57. As a result, the fluctuation in an energy signal from the scintillator 11 temporarily stored in a buffer circuit 52, due to a radiation incidence position, is compensated to assure the uniformity of the energy.
