PURPOSE:Titled lubricating oil which has excellent lubricating properties, allows smooth plastic working and machining of Al materials and is readily removed by water or the like, prepared by adding a specific oiliness improver and a phosphorus- containing extreme-pressure additive to a water-soluble polyoxyalkylene derivative. CONSTITUTION:To (A) a water-soluble polyoxyalkylene derivative such as polyethylene glycol, a (1-18C) alkyl ether thereof or a glycerine ether of polyethylene polypropylene glycol are added (B) as an oiliness improver, 3-50wt% of a higher carboxylic acid partial ester of a polyhydric alcohol such as sorbitan monolauryl ester and/or a higher alcohol such as lauryl alcohol and (C) 0.5-10wt% of a phosphorus-containing extreme-pressure additive such as a (10-18C) dialkyl hydrogenphosphite. |
