Rotating rectifying device for the excitation of a synchronous machine provided with an AC exciter the rotating armature of which is coupled to the shaft of the synchronous machine, said rectifying device comprising at least a support wheel having on its inner surface cooling bodies (2) against which are applied disc-shaped semiconductor elements (3) carrying out the rectification of the AC current generated in the armature. In order to increase the load applicable to such a semiconductor element of a rotating rectifying device, which permits the processing of larger currents with semiconductor elements of the same size, a second cooling body (4) is provided and applied against the second surface (32) of each semiconductor element (3), said second cooling body being resiliently linked to the first cooling body (2) through an insulating body (5). |
