<p>The stationary gas turbine set comprises a compressor, a burner and a turbine. It has a tank for pre-heated water, which is injected into the turbine. The water can be stored in the tank at a temp. near boiling point, while injection can take place at a point such that ignition is unaffected. The water may be heated by a heat exchanger in the turbine. Injection can take place into the compressor, the combustion chamber, or the passage between the two, and via a number of nozzles spaced round the periphery.</p> |
