The ground-treatment implement, particularly a crumbler roller, has a number of sections alongside each other and so suspended that they can adjust independently to uneven ground. They fold from the working position alongside each other about lengthwise horizontal axes. The sections are pendulum-suspended from supporting bars extending in the travel direction, and slide along these bars. The non-folding inner sections have first locking devices preventing them swinging in the forward position but allowing it in the rear one. The outer ones have second locking devices or stops, preventing them swinging out in the forward position but allowing it in the rear one.
