<p>The tool carriage drive consists of a frame, with a turnable shaft, the end of which carries a drive pinion to engage in a central gear of the bending/stamping machine. The other shaft end carries a cam disc, connected to a transmission element, fastened to a slide, which in turn is connected to the carriage. The slide (22) is connected to an hydraulic power intensifier, which is also connected to the tool carriage. The intensifier consists of a primary piston (38), connected to the slide, a secondary piston (50), connected to the carriage, and a cylinder (40), displaceable within the frame (10). The cylinder has two bearing bores (48) for the piston.</p> |
