PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform the copying work, always making certain the image, when the copying image has been formed on the first surface, by shifting its sheet material once to the tray means projecting to the outside of the body, and subsequently feeding it again to the image forming means. CONSTITUTION:When a duplex copy has been designated, a pair of guide plates 45, 46 are moved aslant toward a pair of rollers 55, 56 as shown by a chain line, and an auxiliary tray 50 is moved as shown by a chain line 50'. The sheet material P which has formed the copying image on the first surface in the aforesaid condition is discharged on the tray 50 through the pair of guide plates 45, 46 and the pair of rollers from the photosensitive drum 8. And when copying of the sheets which have been set is finished, the pair of guide plates 45, 46 are automatically returned to the position shown by a full line, and the tray 50 is moved back into the body case. Subsequently, the sheet material P on the tray 50 is carried through the pair of guide plates 52 and the pair of rollers 53, turning its second surface to the face of the drum 8, and the copying image is formed on the second surface. Accordingly, a worker is able to watch an image condition of the first surface at all times at the position shown by a chain line 50'. |
