PURPOSE: To minimize the elevator changing time by controlling at least some of elevator groups operating on opposite sides of the change level according to a centralized control algorithm. CONSTITUTION: For a floor with a change level of 4 or more of the 50<th> floor, an elevator group 2a and an elevator group 2b having a passing zone X are used, respective group control devices 6a, 6b are controlled by use of a centralized control algorithm while transferring internal parameters by a main computer 5. The main computer 5 performs a general group control in a low traffic state, but changes the group control parameter in a middle traffic state to give a high priority to a sky lobby 4, so that passengers from a shuttle elevator floor can get on the upward elevator. In a peak traffic state, the priority of full sky lobby is given, and the elevator groups 2a, 2b are passed through other floors when it is required. Thus, the waiting time can be minimized. |
