The contact strip (1) has a strainer (4,5) for the electrical connection (6) with the cable (2). The contact strip is also perforated at one end and folded across its length, so that the bending line (14) runs central through the perforation. At the longer of the two side pieces (5), an electrical ferrule (6) is formed in the length direction of the cable (2). Both side pieces (4,5) also have a groove in their inner surface running in the direction of the cable, extending from the perforation. The cable is inserted through the perforation and into the ferrule (6) where pressure is exerted on this ferrule thus gripping the core of the cable (8). This forms the electrical contact between strip and conductor, and, by pressure on the side pieces (4,5) the strainer is formed.
|
