The exposure control is for a camera fitted to a closed circuit television monitor and has the camera release linked to the monitor trigger control so that a single frame display is scanned when the shutter is operated. A blocking control prevents a second frame display to ensure a high resolution exposure. The monitor trigger circuit is operated from the flash contact in the camera, via an amplifier. It eliminates complex mechanical interlocks between the monitor and the camera. The system is suitable for electron microscopes and similar equipment.
