PURPOSE:To arrange dots uniformly even when a carriage comes in a reciprocating motion and to improve quality of prints in a recording device which records both directions by an ink jet by a method wherein a means for turning the direction of the ink nozzle is provided. CONSTITUTION:A holder 11 that a nozzle 1 and a tranducer 2 are fixed to is set to a carriage 5 so that it can rotate around an axis 12 and is pushed at all times by a detent spring 13 in a specified direction to keep a definite angle direction. Changeover stoppers 14a, 14b for ink drop ejection angles are installed at both edges of a roll of recording paper 4, comes in contact with a rotative holder 11 when a carriage 5 comes, turns the holder 11 around the axis 12 against a detent spring 13 and turns the pointing direction of the nozzle 1. When the carriage 5 comes at the end of the recording paper 4 in an A direction, the holder 11 rotates clockwise by an intended angle around the axis 12 and stops. |
