The cross beams run with the strip material on chains, bans or V-belts fixed at the sides of the strip path the surface next to the strip of one at least of the beams being heated. The strips are welded immediately on contacting a pair of upper and lower beams, the insertion of the beams being synchronised with the gaps between the strips. Used for welding/heat sealing coated sheet material or fleeces. |
