PURPOSE:To conduct self-starting positively by a construction wherein slits in the direction that does not cross at right angles with the center lines of each phase winding are formed to a stator with two-phase type stator winding facing to a permanent magnet rotor on which N and S poles are symmetrically magnetized. CONSTITUTION:A stator 7 with stator winding 6 consisting of two-phase four coils 6a, 6a' and 6b, 6b' is mounted to face oppositely to a doughnut-shaped permanent magnet rotatory abdomen 8 which N and S poles are magnetized at 180 deg. intervals. A pair of slits 7a, 7b which do not cross at right angles with either of the center lines La, Lb of the winding 6a, 6a' and the winding 6b, 6b' each forming phases are made up to the stator 7. The winding of each phase is conducted in response to the locations of the rotor 8, and a compression element continuing to the rotor 8 is driven. Thus, since the rotor 8 is stopped at a location where a boundary line 8a of the magnetic poles N, S opposes to the slit 7a, 7b when a motor-compressor is stopped, the magnetic poles N, S of the rotor 8 do not agree with the center lines of each phase, and the zero status of torque can be prevented. |
