<p>PURPOSE:To make a used transfer recording medium illegible, by providing a heating means for heating the transfer recording medium taken up by a take-up means after passing through a transferring part. CONSTITUTION:A transfer recording medium 1 comprises a transfer recording layer 1b capable of forming an image when being supplied with both thermal energy and optical energy. A core 1c and a core 1d for forming a magenta color and a blue color, respectively, at the time of forming an image are enclosed in shells 1e, which are adhered to a base 1a by an adhesive 1f to constitute the recording layer 1b. A recording part 3 comprises a recording head 3a, a heat generating element array 3b and fluorescent lamps 3c, 3d. The images on the recording medium 1 are transferred as magenta and blue images onto a recording paper 8 at a transferring part 4. The recording medium 1 released by a releasing roller 5 is taken up on a roll 6. At this moment, the medium 1 is heated by a heated roller 14a, whereby the adhesive 1f is softened to adhere firmly to the base 1a. Therefore, even when the used transfer recording medium 1 is discarded, there is no possibility of leakage of recorded information.</p> |
